With this recipe of Quick Rice of meat and vegetables you mount at the moment and with simple ingredients a familiar dish, tasty and to everyone’s taste.
INGREDIENTS for 4-5 people
- 4 cups of rice (about 350 gr) round or of the variety you usually use
- Half package (200 gr) of sautéed vegetables, a mix of vegetables for stir-fry or mixed stew
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 4 tablespoons crushed tomato sauce
- Food coloring if you like
- 4 thick fillets of chicken breast or pork for small pieces of stew
- Salt or a cubed broth tablet
- chopped parsley, ground pepper, and 1 bay leaf
- 1 glass of white wine
- Extra virgin olive oil
PREPARATION of Quick Rice with meat and vegetables
We prepare a sauce with garlic and tomato (and we can add green or red pepper if it does not take the vegetable we have chosen). Add the bay leaf and the meat, seal it well until golden brown and add the wine. Salpimentamos.
When the alcohol evaporates we add the vegetable packet and dizzy a few minutes. We put the paprika and cover with water to cook until the meat tenderizes and the vegetables are tender but whole. Since the meat is cut small, you will not have to cook more than 5 or 7 minutes.
Then add the rice and soak in the sauce. We put the water (the same measure of water as rice because the stew already has liquid), parsley and dye if we like to use it and let it cover until the rice reaches its point. Add more water if necessary and rectify salt.
Let stand at least 10 min. And we serve hot.
